EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER NEED IS ALREADY WITHIN YOU.
Lydia started practicing yoga well over a decade ago to help manage her stress levels associated with her senior roles in corporate affairs and public relations. Having experienced the incredible benefits of these practices first-hand, sharing them seemed like to me an absolutely necessary thing to do.
Lydia’s passion for yoga eventually led her to Bali to complete her 200 Hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher training under the expert guidance of international teacher Judit Varga of Hungary.
Since then, Lydia has continued her Yoga studies in earnest and is also qualified to teach Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga + meditation including Yoga Nidra. See more information on Lydia’s styles here.
Lydia has studied Yin Yoga with one of Melbourne’s most progressive and innovative Yin Yoga teachers, Jennifer Crescenzo of Luminous Yoga and has studied with one of Australia’s most pre-eminent Restorative Yoga teachers, Gena Kenny of Ohana Yoga and has also trained with acclaimed teacher Donna Farhi.
Lydia’s other major Yoga influences include Amy Leonard-King (Founder, Yoga Corner, Melbourne), Judith Hanson Lasater, Janet Stone + Jason Crandell.
Lydia brings the deepest energy of her heart to her teaching and has facilitated a number of workshops across Melbourne. View her latest events here.
For Lydia, Yoga is about connection. Connection with self and a coming home to who we already are. Also, connection with community and with Earth and as such sees it as her responsibility and absolute privilege to be able to help raise the consciousness of human beings by guiding her students to that place within where the mind is a little quieter and the heart is a little louder. It’s here that transformation is possible.
